Robert Lazzarini -"Guns, Knives, Brass Knuckles"

Robert Lazzarini's "Guns, Knives, Brass Knuckles" brings up an array of emotions. He has taken objects which are often viewed in a negative context and turned them into something to be admired, with the way the pieces are placed together and how the objects have been distorted you almost forget what you are looking at, until surprise you realize you are looking point blank at the barrel of a gun. This is a must see in Chelsea right now. Located on the 9th floor entrance of the Chelsea Art Tower at 545 West 25th Street.

Andy Warhol "Rain Machine (Daisy Waterfall)"

We recently attended Nicholas Robinson Galleries presentation of Andy Warhol’s “Rain Machine (Daisy Waterfall)” This piece is truly an inspiration. From the moment you stepped inside the gallery this instant calm feeling swept over you from the sound of the water and the cool feeling of the mist. Your eye was instantly drawn to the hologram daisy’s, which gave a depth to the piece giving it the illusion it was much bigger then it was. The whole installation was mesmerizing and truly a great example of why Warhol has always been pushing boundaries. The exhibit runs until August 28th and Nicholas Robinson Gallery is located at 535 West 20th Street.
